Quality Control
Silicone products are qualified in every process before shipment.
As a silicone product manufacturer, Jan Huei has certificated ISO9001 and ISO13485 to satisfy customers all over the world. Final product's rejection rate less than 3% is the top principle. By following the goal, all of our facilities including QC room, are all constructed as cleanroom in order to prevent the pollution of silicone products.
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
To order the silicone from the supplier, Jan Huei needs the test report from the supplier's inspection center, such as: RoHS, REACH, SDS, UL fire rating, etc. Each batch of silicone rubber has a CoA inspection report. When the silicone rubber is delivered to our factory, the storage management will check the appearance and quantity before entering the warehouse.
Preparation and Color Comparison
When the production schedule is notified to the mixing technician, they compound the silicone color according to the material specification. The production supervisor sets the machine parameters according to the product operation specifications. After the operator produces the testing block, the inspector compares the color and hardness to ensure that the material is within the tolerance of specification.
First Article Inspection (FAI)
In production line, inspectors must follow standard inspection procedure to check each first article. This process would ensure each article would be qualified in the production process.
In Process Quality Control (IPQC)
In production process, the IPQC person perform regular inspection daily base until the product line process finished. If the product has find out any defeat through the IPQC person, supervisor would be notified immediately to adjust the parameter of machine.
Processing
Once the production line process finished, the process control person will arrange addition process such as deburring, printing, PU coating, cutting and adhesive, followed by standard inspection procedure.
Quality Control (QC)
After additional process, quality control person will abided by standard inspection procedure, limit sample and spot inspection to inspect all products intensively. Each product will be done final quality control inspection before packing.
Packaging and Quality Assurance (QA)
Finally, quality assurance person will proceed outgoing quality control according to acceptance quality limit. Packer will pack products that passed outgoing quality control inspection.
All of process, we follow the ISO 9001 to provide the customer best quality assurance.
ISO Certification
In order to provide continuous and stable quality, Jan Huei applied for ISO9001 certification in 2008 and ISO13485 certification in 2018. Jan Huei formulates specifications for products and processes, and employees follow company regulations to implement product quality control in each process. Complemented by the ISO quality system, Jan Huei can continue to improve quality and provide customers with better products.
Provide Green Products
Silicone is an environmentally friendly material, which is made of silica. It is highly safe, non-toxic and non-corrosive. Consumers are generally unable to distinguish the difference between silicone, rubber and plastic, but among the three materials, only silicone is exposed to heat and will not produce toxic substances. This is one of the reasons why silicone has been discussed and applied in recent years. Silicone can be recycled and reused to decompose silicone oil as a lubricant. For modern generations who pay more attention to environmental protection, it is the responsibility and obligation of Jan Huei to continue to provide green silicone products.
